Sayyiduna al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Prayer is two rak'ahs at a time; recite the tashahhud after every two rak'ahs, show humility and lowliness, raise your hands and say: 'Allahumma, Allahumma' (O Allah, O Allah). Al-Bukhari said: In this hadith, the narration of al-Layth bin Sa'd from Abd Rabbih bin Sa'id is more correct than the hadith of Shu'bah, and Shu'bah erred in this hadith in several places: he said "from Anas bin Abi Anas", whereas it is Imran bin Abi Anas; and he said "Abdullah bin al-Harith", whereas it is Abdullah bin Nafi' from Rabi'ah bin al-Harith, and Rabi'ah bin al-Harith is the son of (Abd) al-Muttalib, so he said "from al-Muttalib" and did not mention al-Fadl bin Abbas in it.
