Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I memorised ten rak'ahs from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): two rak'ahs before Zuhr and two after it, two rak'ahs after Maghrib and two rak'ahs after Isha in his house, and two rak'ahs before the morning prayer; and this was a time when no one would come in to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that when the mu'adhdhin had called the adhan and dawn had broken, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray two rak'ahs.

Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I prayed two rak'ahs with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) before Zuhr and after it, and also prayed two rak'ahs each with Maghrib, Isha and Jumu'ah; but the rak'ahs of Maghrib, Isha and Jumu'ah he prayed at home.
(b) Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray two light rak'ahs after dawn broke, before the Fajr prayer, and I would not go in to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at that time.
