أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُورَكٍ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ تَعَالَى، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْخُلُ بَيْتَ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ وَيَنَامُ عَلَى فِرَاشِهَا وَلَيْسَتْ ثَمَّ، قَالَ: فَأَتَتْ يَوْمًا فَقِيلَ لَهَا: هُوَ هَذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى فِرَاشِكِ فَانْتَهَتْ إِلَيْهِ وَقَدْ عَرِقَ عَرَقًا شَدِيدًا وَذَلِكَ فِي الْحَرِّ فَأَخَذَتْ قَارُورَةً فَجَعَلَتْ تَأْخُذُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْعَرَقِ فَجَعَلَتْهُ فِي الْقَارُورَةِ فَاسْتَيْقَظَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: " مَا تَصْنَعِينَ؟ " فَقَالَتْ: بَرَكَتُكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ نَجْعَلُهُ فِي طِيبِنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَصَبْتِ " رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ حُجَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ الْمَاجِشُونِ بِمَعْنَاهُ، وَرَوَاهُ ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ وَأَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ.
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to come to the house of Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) and sleep on her bed while she was not there. Then he said: One day she was called and told: "Here is the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on your bed." She came to him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) had sweated profusely, and this was in the hot season. She took a small bottle and began collecting the sweat and filling the bottle with it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) woke up and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What will you do with this?" She said: "O Messenger of Allah! It is your blessing; we will put it in our perfume." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have done right."
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ: قُرِئَ عَلَى ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتَ عُبَيْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَتَوَضَّأُ فِي الْحَرِّ فَيُمِرُّ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى إِبْطَيْهِ وَلَا يَنْقُضُ ذَلِكَ وُضُوءَهُ. ".
It is narrated from Nafi' that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) would perform ablution in the heat and pass his hands over his armpits, and this did not break his ablution.
