(a) Bahz bin Hakim narrates from his grandfather (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: O Prophet of Allah, which parts of our bodies must we cover and which may we leave? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Guard your private parts except from your wife or your slave woman." I said: Tell me, if people are all of one kind among themselves? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you are able to ensure that no one sees it, that is better." I said: Tell me, when one of us is alone? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty has more right to be shown modesty."
(b) In one narration it says: "Allah Almighty has more right than people to be shown modesty."
