Majza'ah bin Zahir al-Aslami said that he heard Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with them both) say that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "'Allahumma laka al-hamdu mil'a al-samawati wa mil'a al-ardi wa mil'a ma shi'ta min shay'in ba'd. Allahumma tahhirni bil-thalji wal-baradi wal-ma'i al-barid. Allahumma tahhirni min al-dhunubi wa naqqini minha kama yunaqqa al-thawbu al-abyadu min al-danasi wal-wasakh' (O Allah, to You belongs praise filling the heavens and filling the earth, and filling whatever else You will thereafter. O Allah, purify me with snow, hail and cold water. O Allah, purify me of sins and wash them away, as a white garment is cleansed of dirt and filth)."
Sahih. Recorded by Muslim [204].
