باب: من قال زكاة الحلي إنما وجبت في الوقت الذي كان الحلي من الذهب حراما فلما صار مباحا للنساء سقطت زكاته بالاستعمال كما تسقط زكاة الماشية بالاستعمال، إلى هذا ذهب كثير من أصحابنا.
Chapter: Those who said the zakah of jewellery was obligatory only when gold jewellery was forbidden, and once it became permissible for women its zakah lapsed through use, just as the zakah of livestock lapses through use; many of our companions held this view

At that time gold jewelry was forbidden. When it became permissible for women, its zakah was dropped because it is in use, just as the zakah of grazing animals is dropped. Most of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) held this view.
