أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو وَقَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الْحَارِثِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا مُرَّةَ مَوْلَى عَقِيلِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَهُمْ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزْوَةِ الْفَتْحِ بِمَكَّةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَتْ: " ثُمَّ سُكِبَ لَهُ غُسْلٌ فَسَتَرَتْهُ ابْنَتُهُ فَاطِمَةُ بِثَوْبِهِ، فَلَمَّا اغْتَسَلَ أَخَذَهُ فَالْتَحَفَ بِهِ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى ثَمَانِ سَجَدَاتٍ وَذَلِكَ ضُحًى ". رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ.
Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) went to Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her), and she was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of the Conquest of Makkah. Then water for bathing was poured out for him (peace and blessings be upon him), and his (peace and blessings be upon him) daughter Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) screened him (peace and blessings be upon him) with a cloth. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) had finished bathing, he (peace and blessings be upon him) took hold of that cloth and he (peace and blessings be upon him) wrapped himself in it, then he stood and offered eight rak'ahs of the Duha (forenoon) prayer.
