أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ السَّيَّارِيُّ بِمَرْوَ، أنا أَبُو الْمُوَجَّهِ، أنا عَبْدَانُ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ، قَالَتْ: " سَتَرْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ فَبَدَأَ فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ، ثُمَّ صَبَّ بِيَمِينِهِ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ فَغَسَلَ فَرْجَهُ وَمَا أَصَابَهُ، ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى الْحَائِطِ أَوِ الْأَرْضِ، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ غَيْرَ رِجْلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ أَفَاضَ عَلَى جَسَدِهِ الْمَاءَ، ثُمَّ تَنَحَّى فَغَسَلَ قَدَمَيْهِ ". ⦗٣٠٥⦘.
It is narrated from Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I hung a screen for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was performing the ritual bath (ghusl) for janabah. First he (peace and blessings be upon him) washed his hands, then he poured water with his right hand onto his left hand and washed his private part and whatever had got on it, then he rubbed his hand on the wall or the ground, then he performed an ablution like the ablution for prayer except for washing his feet, then he poured water over his body, then he moved to another spot and washed his feet.
