أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: بَيْنَمَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ: " يَا عَائِشَةُ نَاوِلِينِي الْخُمْرَةَ " فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي حَائِضٌ، فَقَالَ: " إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَيْسَتْ بِيَدِكِ " فَنَاوَلَتْهُ إِيَّاهَا. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي كَامِلٍ وَغَيْرِهِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the mosque, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Aishah! Hand me the mat." She said: I am menstruating. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your menstruation is not in your hand." So she handed it to him (peace and blessings be upon him).
