Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade fasting on two days, namely the Day of al-Fitr and the Day of al-Adha; and forbade two ways of wearing clothes, al-samma' and ihtiba', that is, a man wrapping himself in a single garment; and forbade praying at two times, after Fajr and after Asr.
