Bayhaqi 845 — The evidence that ablution (wudu) is included in ghusl

Yahya bin Sa'id (may Allah have mercy on him) says: They asked Sa'id bin al-Musayyab (may Allah have mercy on him) about a man who takes the ritual bath for janabah (major impurity): will it suffice him for ablution? He said: Yes, but he should wash his feet.
Al-Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said about a person who forgot to rinse the mouth and sniff water into the nose in (the bath for) janabah: He does not repeat the prayer.
