أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا رَوْحٌ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ أَبُو حَامِدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ بِلَالٍ الْبَزَّازُ، ثنا أَبُو الْأَزْهَرِ، ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقْرَأُ: " وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ يُطَوَّقُونَهُ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ " فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: " لَيْسَتْ مَنْسُوخَةً هُوَ الشَّيْخُ الْكَبِيرُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ الْكَبِيرَةُ لَا يَسْتَطِيعَانِ أَنْ يَصُومَا فَيُطْعِمَا مَكَانَ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ مِسْكِينًا ". لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رَوْحٍ.
Ata' said: I heard Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) recite: "And upon those who are burdened with it (yutawwaqunahu) is a ransom: the feeding of a poor person" [Surah al-Baqarah: 184]. Then Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: This is not abrogated; rather, it is for the very old man and the very old woman who are unable to fast, so they should feed a poor person in place of each day.
