قَالَ الْبُخَارِيُّ: قَالَ لِي عَيَّاشٌ: ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ ⦗441⦘ مَرْفُوعًا قَالَ: " أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ " قِيلَ لَهُ: عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: نَعَمْ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: اللهُ أَعْلَمُ..
Imam al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Ayyash told me; (he said:) Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, from more than one (of the Companions), in a marfu' form (attributed to the Prophet); he said: "The cupper and the one cupped have both broken their fast."
He was asked: Is this from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? He said: "Yes." Then he said: "Allah knows best."

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْفَارِسِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ فَارِسٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبُخَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عَيَّاشٌ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
Yunus narrates from al-Hasan that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who cups and the one who is cupped have both broken their fast."
