باب: من اختار الصوم في السفر إذا قوي على الصيام ولم يكن به رغبة عن قبول الرخصة
Chapter: Those who preferred fasting while travelling for one strong enough, without disdaining the concession
Bayhaqi 8172 — Those who preferred fasting while travelling for one
أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ، أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، ثنا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " لَأَنْ أُفْطِرَ فِي رَمَضَانَ فِي السَّفَرِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَصُومَ ".
Nafi' narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: "Breaking the fast of Ramadan on a journey is dearer to me than fasting."
