وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْدَلَانِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ، قَالَا: ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، وَعَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " تَسَحَّرُوا؛ فَإِنَّ فِي السَّحُورِ بَرَكَةً " رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ.
Abd al-Aziz bin Suhayb (may Allah have mercy on him) reports that Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take the pre-dawn meal (suhur), for indeed in the suhur there is blessing."
