Bayhaqi 7972 — The Companions who permitted fasting the day of doubt
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ فِنْجَوَيْهِ الدَّيْنَوَرِيُّ بِالدَّامِغَانِ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شَنْبَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي الْحَضْرَمِيَّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ ضُرَيْسٍ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا: أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَصُومُ الْيَوْمَ الَّذِي يُشَكُّ فِيهِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ.
Sayyidah Fatimah bint al-Mundhir (may Allah have mercy on her) narrated from Sayyidah Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) that she used to fast the day of doubt about Ramadan.
