أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ الْعَبْدَوِيُّ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ السُّلَمِيُّ، بِحَرَّانَ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَرَى فِي الْمَنَامِ الْبَلَلَ وَلَا يَذْكُرُ احْتِلَامًا؟ قَالَ: " يَغْتَسِلُ، وَإِنْ رَأَى أَنَّهُ احْتَلَمَ وَلَمْ يَرَ بَلَلًا فَلَا غُسَلَ عَلَيْهِ ".
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a man who sees wetness after sleep but does not remember having a wet dream. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He should perform ghusl. And if he sees that he had a wet dream but does not see any wetness, then there is no ghusl upon him."
