وَرُوِّينَا فِي حَدِيثِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ جَدِّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْكِتَابِ الَّذِي كَتَبَهُ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ وَأنَّهُ " لَيْسَ فِي عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَا فِي فَرَسِهِ شَيْءٌ " أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْعَبْدِيُّ ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ فَذَكَرَهُ.
Abu Bakr bin Muhammad bin Amr bin Hazm narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather (may Allah be pleased with him), that in the letter which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wrote to the people of Yemen it was stated: "There is nothing (no zakah) on a Muslim's slave or his horse."
