وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الَحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ خُثَيْمِ بْنِ عِرَاكٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا صَدَقَةَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ فِي عَبْدِهِ وَلَا فِي فَرَسِهِ " رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَرَوَاهُ بُكَيْرُ بْنُ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ بِنَحْوِهِ فِي الْعَبْدِ فَسَمَاعُ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ صَحِيحٌ لَا شَكَّ فِيهِ.
Khuthaym bin Irak (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I heard my father narrate that Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no zakah on a Muslim's slave or horse."
That Irak bin Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) heard from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) is established. This is authentic; there is no doubt in it.
