وَرَوَاهُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: " إِنْ كَانَ عِنْدَكَ مَالٌ اسْتَفَدْتَهُ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ زَكَاةٌ حَتَّى يَحُولَ عَلَيْهِ الْحَوْلُ ".
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If you have wealth that you have acquired, there is no zakah upon you until a year has passed over it.
