وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا الْكُدَيْمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ النَّبِيلُ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ، قَالَ: يَعْنِي أَبَا عَاصِمٍ: وَأَفَادَنِيهِ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُشَارَ إِلَى الْمَطَرِ " وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ ضَعِيفٍ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade pointing at the rain.
