Book of the Two Eid Prayers
باب: من قال: يكبر في الأضحى خلف صلاة الظهر من يوم النحر إلى أن يكبر خلف صلاة الصبح من آخر أيام التشريق، ثم يقطع استدلالا بأن أهل الأمصار تبع لأهل منى والحاج ذكره التلبية حتى يرمي جمرة العقبة يوم النحر ثم يكون ذكره التكبير
Chapter: Those who said that at al-Adha one says the takbir after the Zuhr prayer of the day of sacrifice until the takbir after the Fajr prayer of the last of the days of Tashriq, then stops, reasoning that the people of the cities follow the people of Mina, and the pilgrim's remembrance is the talbiyah until he stones Jamrat al-Aqabah on the day of sacrifice, after which his remembrance is the takbir

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، وَأَبُو عَاصِمٍ، أنبأ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِهِ، هَذَا أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْعَدْلُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ هُوَ ابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، أنبأ عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْدَفَ الْفَضْلَ مِنْ جَمْعٍ، قَالَ: فَأَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ الْفَضْلَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَزَلْ يُلَبِّي حَتَّى رَمَى ابْنُ خَشْرَمٍ جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ ". رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ، وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ خَشْرَمٍ.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that al-Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) rode behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when returning from Muzdalifah. Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that al-Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) told him: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) kept reciting the talbiyah until he (peace and blessings be upon him) stoned Jamrat al-Aqabah."
