وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي، أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أنبأ مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ كُرْدُوسٍ قَالَ: قَدِمَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْعَاصِ قَبْلَ الْأَضْحَى فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَإِلَى أَبِي مُوسَى وَإِلَى أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، فَسَأَلَهُمْ عَنِ التَّكْبِيرِ، قَالَ: فَقَذَفُوا بِالْمَقَالِيدِ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: " تَقُومُ فَتُكَبِّرُ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ، ثُمَّ تَقْرَأُ، ثُمَّ تَرْكَعُ فِي الْخَامِسَةِ، ثُمَّ تَقُومُ فَتَقْرَأُ، ثُمَّ تُكَبِّرُ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ فَتَرْكَعُ بِالرَّابِعَةِ ".
Sa'id bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) came before Eid al-Adha and sent a man to Abdullah bin Mas'ud, Abu Musa and Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with them) to ask them about the takbirs. They left the decision to Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him).
Then Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Say four takbirs, then recite, then bow with the fifth takbir; then stand and recite, then say four takbirs and bow with the fourth takbir.
Then Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Say four takbirs, then recite, then bow with the fifth takbir; then stand and recite, then say four takbirs and bow with the fourth takbir.
