Bayhaqi 6074 — The concession for men to wear silk because of an itch
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: " رُخِّصَ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا فِي الْحَرِيرِ مِنْ حِكَّةٍ ".
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf and Sayyiduna al-Zubayr bin al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with them both) to wear silk shirts because of itching.
