Zayd bin Aslam narrates from his father that he was with Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) when he led the people of Makkah in prayer during the days of Hajj. After finishing two rak'ahs of prayer, he said: O people of Makkah! Complete your prayer, for we are travellers.
