Bayhaqi 5375 — A woman attending the mosque for prayer should not wear

Musa bin Yasar narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he met a woman from whom a fragrance was coming. He asked: O servant of the Compeller, are you heading for the mosque? She said: Yes. Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Have you put on perfume? She said: Yes. Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Go back, for I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whichever woman puts on perfume and comes to the mosque while its fragrance is spreading from her, she should go back and take a bath; then Allah will accept her prayer."
