وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْكَعْبِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، فَذَكَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ نَحْوَهُ. إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: مَرِضَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاشْتَدَّ مَرَضُهُ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ.
Husayn bin Ali (al-Ju'fi) narrated it with the same chain in similar words, except that he added: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) fell ill and his illness grew severe.
