Yazid bin al-Asamm narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a blind man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I have no one to bring me to the mosque. He asked for permission to pray at home, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him permission. When he began to leave, he (peace and blessings be upon him) called him back and asked: "Do you hear the call to prayer (adhan)?" He said: Yes. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then come to the mosque and pray."
