Bayhaqi 4782 — Witr with one rak'ah, and one who permitted praying

Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I stood behind the Station of Ibrahim, having resolved that tonight I would let no one else stand in that place. Suddenly a man began nudging me, but I did not even turn to look at him. Then he nudged me again, so I turned and looked, and it was Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him). I moved back, and he stepped forward and recited the entire Qur'an in one rak'ah.
