اُردوEn
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ بِمَرْوَ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أنبأ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَوْتِرْ بِخَمْسٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَبِثَلَاثٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَبِوَاحِدَةٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَأَوْمِئْ إِيمَاءً ".
Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Pray five rak'ahs of witr; if you are not able to pray five, pray three rak'ahs of witr. If you are not able to pray three, pray one rak'ah of witr. Otherwise, perform it by gestures."
