Bayhaqi 4721 — The sick person leaving the night prayer or praying

Al-Aswad said: I heard Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) say that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell ill, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not stand in prayer for two or three nights. A woman said: "O Muhammad, I hope that your devil has abandoned you (Allah forbid); I have not seen him near you for two or three nights." So Allah revealed these verses: "By the morning brightness, and by the night when it covers with stillness. Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased" [Surah al-Duha: 1-3].
