Bayhaqi 4701 — The manner of recitation in the night prayer, aloud

Thabit al-Bunani (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in mursal form that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! I wanted to wake those who were asleep, and I was driving away Satan.
