Urwah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray eleven rak'ahs of night prayer. This was his (peace and blessings be upon him) prayer. He (peace and blessings be upon him) would prostrate for as long as it takes one of you to recite fifty verses. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray two rak'ahs before Fajr, then lie down on his right side until the mu'adhdhin called the adhan.
