أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، وَأَبُو صَادِقِ بْنُ أَبِي الْفَوَارِسِ قَالُوا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، وَمَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، وَاللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَبَعْدَهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَبَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ، وَبَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَكَانَ لَا يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ شَيْئًا حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ فَيَسْجُدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ " أَخْرَجَاهُ فِي الصَّحِيحَيْنِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray two rak'ahs before Zuhr and two after it, two rak'ahs after Maghrib in his house, and two rak'ahs after Isha; and after Jumu'ah he would not pray anything in the mosque, and he would pray two rak'ahs at home.
