وَأنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ، أنبأ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، ثنا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، أنبأ شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُمَيْرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ خَالِدَ بْنَ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ زُغْبَانَ مَوْلَى حَبِيبِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَهُبُّونَ إِلَيْهَا كَمَا يَهُبُّونَ إِلَى الْمَكْتُوبَةِ " يَعْنِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْمَغْرِبِ.
Zughban, the freed slave of Habib bin Maslamah (may Allah be pleased with him), said: I saw the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (may Allah be pleased with them), preparing for the two rak'ahs before Maghrib just as they would prepare for the obligatory prayer.
