Bayhaqi 4255 — The Sunnah of praying in sandals

Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) praying barefoot and with his sandals on. He (peace and blessings be upon him) would drink water sitting and standing, and after the prayer he would turn away to either side, the right or the left, without minding which it was.
