Bayhaqi 4017 — The length of recitation in the Fajr prayer

Abdullah bin Amir said: We prayed the Fajr prayer behind Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), and he recited Surah Yusuf and Surah al-Hajj in it, in a slow, unhurried recitation. Hisham said: I said: By Allah, then he must have stood up (for the prayer) as soon as dawn broke. He said: Yes.
