(a) Sayyiduna Uqbah bin al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I prayed Asr with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the salam ending the prayer, he got up quickly and went to his wife. Then he came out, and seeing on the people's faces the signs of surprise and astonishment at his (peace and blessings be upon him) leaving so quickly, he said: "During the prayer I remembered that we had a nugget (of gold or silver). I did not like it to remain with us for a day or a night. So I have gone and ordered it to be distributed (in the way of Allah)."
(b) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him): I would work out the accounts of the jizyah of Bahrain during the prayer.
