أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ (ح) قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ بَحْرٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ رِبْعِيٍّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، أنبأ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: سَمِعْتَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ: إِنَّمَا أُمِرْتُمْ بِالطَّوَافِ وَلَمْ تُؤْمَرُوا بِدُخُولِهِ؟ فَقَالَ: لَمْ يَكُنْ يَنْهَى عَنْ دُخُولِهِ، وَلَكِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ دَعَا فِي نَوَاحِيهِ كُلِّهَا وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ فِيهِ حَتَّى خَرَجَ، فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ رَكَعَ فِي قِبَلِ الْبَيْتِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَقَالَ: هَذِهِ الْقِبْلَةُ، قُلْتُ: مَا نَوَاحِيهَا فِي زَوَايَاهَا قَالَ: فِي كُلِّ قِبْلَةٍ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ " رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَأَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ كَمَا تَقَدَّمَ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ: مَنْ قَالَ: صَلَّى، شَاهِدٌ، وَمَنْ قَالَ: لَمْ يُصَلِّ، لَيْسَ بِشَاهِدٍ، فَأَخَذْنَا بِقَوْلِ بِلَالٍ وَكَانَتْ هَذِهِ الْحُجَّةُ الثَّابِتَةُ عِنْدَنَا قَالَ الشَّيْخُ: وَقَدْ رُوِّينَا أَيْضًا، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ وَرُوِيَ ذَلِكَ، عَنْ شَيْبَةَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ الْحَجَبِيِّ وَرُوِيَ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ الْحَجَبِيِّ.
Ibn Jurayj (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I said to Ata (may Allah have mercy on him): Did you hear Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) saying that you have only been commanded to perform tawaf of the Ka'bah and not to enter it? He said: He did not forbid entering it, but I heard him saying: Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) informed me that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the House of Allah, he supplicated in all its corners and did not pray inside it until he came out; then, when he came out, he prayed two rak'ahs facing the front of the House and said: "This is the qiblah." I said: What are its sides; are its corners meant? He said: In every side of the House facing it.
Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The one who says that he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed is a witness to it, and the one who says that he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not pray did not witness it, so we take the statement of Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), and that is the established proof in our view.
Imam al-Bayhaqi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: We have also received a similar narration through Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him).
And it is also reported from Shaybah bin Uthman bin Talhah and Uthman bin Talhah al-Hajabi (may Allah be pleased with them both).
Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The one who says that he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed is a witness to it, and the one who says that he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not pray did not witness it, so we take the statement of Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), and that is the established proof in our view.
