أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ (ح) وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، سُئِلَ عَنِ السُّجُودِ فِي ص فَقَالَ: " لَيْسَ مِنْ عَزَائِمِ السُّجُودِ، وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا " رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ حَرْبٍ.
It is narrated from Ikrimah (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) was asked about the prostration in Surah Sad [Surah Sad: 1], and he said: Surah Sad is not among the surahs in which prostration is obligatory, but the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to prostrate in Surah Sad.
