أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْبَغَوِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَجَدَ فِيهَا يَعْنِي وَالنَّجْمِ وَسَجَدَ فِيهَا الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَالْمُشْرِكُونَ وَالْجِنُّ وَالْإِنْسُ " رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ وَغَيْرِهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prostrated in Surah al-Najm, and the Muslims, the polytheists, and all the jinn and humans also prostrated in it.
