Abu al-Wadhak (may Allah have mercy on him) relates: Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) was praying when a young man of Quraysh began to pass in front of him. He (may Allah be pleased with him) stopped him; he tried to pass again and he stopped him again, until he had stopped him three times. When he (may Allah be pleased with him) finished the prayer, he said: "Nothing breaks the prayer, but the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Prevent him as far as you are able, for he is a devil.'"
