It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(To alert the imam to a mistake) men should say 'Subhan Allah' (Allah is free of all imperfection), and women should clap."
