It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his head from bowing in the second rak'ah of the Fajr prayer, he would recite: "O Allah, rescue al-Walid bin al-Walid, Salamah bin Hisham and Ayyash bin Abi Rabi'ah (may Allah be pleased with them) and the oppressed ones in Makkah. O Allah, make Your grip severe upon (the disbelievers of the tribe of) Mudar, and impose upon them this punishment of famine for a long period, like (the years of) Yusuf (peace be upon him)."
