أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَهْرَوَيْهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، أنبأ هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْهِ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin Abi Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed in a single garment. He (peace and blessings be upon him) had wrapped this garment in such a way that its right end was over the left shoulder and its left end over the right shoulder.
