وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: دَخَلَتْ حَفْصَةُ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَعَلَى حَفْصَةَ خِمَارٌ رَقِيقٌ فَشَقَّتْهُ عَائِشَةُ وَكَسَتْهَا خِمَارًا كَثِيفًا ".
Alqamah bin Abi Alqamah narrates from his mother that Hafsah bint Abd al-Rahman came to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), and Hafsah was wearing a thin head-covering. Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) tore it and clothed her in a thick head-covering.
