أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو أَحْمَدَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْعَدْلُ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أنا وَرْقَاءُ، ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: أَلَا أُرِيكُمْ وُضُوءَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ مَرَّةً مَرَّةً، وَمَضْمَضَ مَرَّةً، وَاسْتَنْشَقَ مَرَّةً، وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ مَرَّةً وَذِرَاعَيْهِ مَرَّةً مَرَّةً، وَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ مَرَّةً، وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ مَرَّةً مَرَّةً، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " هَذَا وُضُوءُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ". هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ صَحِيحٌ.
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Shall I not show you the ablution of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" Then he described the manner of ablution: he washed his hands once, rinsed his mouth once, sniffed water into his nose once, washed his face once, washed his forearms once, wiped his head only once, and washed his feet once. Then he said: "This is the ablution of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
