أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، أَنَّ جُبَيْرَ بْنَ مُطْعِمٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ جَاءَ هُوَ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكَلِّمَانِهِ لَمَّا ⦗٢١٤⦘ قَسَمَ فَيْءَ خَيْبَرَ بَيْنَ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، وَبَنِي الْمُطَّلِبِ، فَقَالَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَسَمْتَ لِإِخْوَانِنَا بَنِي الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ، وَلَمْ تُعْطِنَا شَيْئًا، وَقَرَابَتُنَا مِثْلُ قَرَابَتِهِمْ، فَقَالَ لَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّمَا بَنُو هَاشِمٍ وَالْمُطَّلِبِ شَيْءٌ وَاحِدٌ " وَقَالَ جُبَيْرُ بْنُ مُطْعِمٍ: لَمْ يُقْسِمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِبَنِي عَبْدِ شَمْسٍ وَلَا لِبَنِي نَوْفَلٍ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْخُمُسِ شَيْئًا كَمَا قَسَمَ لِبَنِي هَاشِمٍ وَبَنِي الْمُطَّلِبِ أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ بِمَعْنَاهُ وَشَوَاهِدُهُ تُذْكَرُ فِي كِتَابِ قَسْمِ الْفَيْءِ بِمَشِيئَةِ اللهِ تَعَالَى.
Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) informed him: Uthman bin Affan and I (may Allah be pleased with them both) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). We were speaking with him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) had distributed the spoils of Khaybar between Banu Hashim and Banu al-Muttalib. We said: O Messenger of Allah, you have distributed the spoils among our brothers, Banu al-Muttalib bin Abd Manaf, while you have given us nothing, though our kinship is the same as their kinship. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us: "Banu Hashim and Banu al-Muttalib are one and the same thing." Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not distribute anything from the khumus to Banu Abd Shams and Banu Nawfal as he distributed to Banu Hashim and Banu al-Muttalib.
