Bayhaqi 282 — Wiping the head is obligatory even when wearing a turban

It is narrated from Ata' (the Successor, may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution; he pushed back his turban and wiped the front part of his head, or he said: "he wiped his forelock with water."
(b) This report is mursal. We have already narrated a report with the same meaning from al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him).
