Bayhaqi 2693 — Where to place the hands in prostration

Waki' (may Allah have mercy on him) reports from al-Thawri (may Allah have mercy on him) that he saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): when he (peace and blessings be upon him) prostrated, his hands were close to his ears.
